INDUSTRIAL WHEELS

Our selection of industrial wheels includes wheels with swivel castor, fixed castor and without castor. We can offer wheels with or without brakes.
The wheel area can be made from:
 
  • Polyurethane (high load-bearing capacity, resistance to sharp metal parts, resistance to hot water and steam)
  • Polyamide (resistance to moisture and many acids, relatively high load-bearing capacity, suitable for smooth surfaces)
  • Polypropylene (resistance to moisture and many acids, relatively high load-bearing capacity, suitable for smooth surfaces) cast iron silicone tires (less vibration during transport, less resistance than with tires)

We can also offer high temperature wheels in the food industry, trolley wheels and antistatic wheels.

Industrial wheels for light-duty loads are suitable for carrying loads not exceeding 225 daN, even on floors that present obstacles.

The wheels, made of natural, thermoplastic or pneumatic rubber. Their main feature is the elasticity, sure enough they are suitable for both indoor-outdoor uses, even in domestic environments and on breakable floors. They can be used, for example, for luggage trolleys, tool trolleys, trolleys for catering, trolleys for industrial internal use and waste collection bins.

The industrial wheels for light cargos are mainly made of the following materials:

  • Rubber
  • Polypropylene
  • Metal sheet

Industrial wheels for medium loads are recommended for handling loads up to 500 daN.

Industrial wheels for medium loads are mainly made with the following materials:

  • Thermoplastic polyurethane
  • Elastic rubber
  • Polyamide 6 (nylon)

The thermoplastic polyurethane wheels are characterized by excellent smoothness, long-lasting quality and resistance to aggressive chemicals and high humidity level: they are therefore apd for both internal and external use, and suitable for frequent washing and sterilization. They can be used, for example, for trolleys employed in internal and external industrial handling, manual pallet trucks, tubular trolleys, mobile scaffolding.

The polyamide 6 (nylon) wheels are characterized by excellent smoothness, load capacity and resistance to aggressive chemicals. However, they are not recommended in the case of uneven or delicate floors.

The elastic rubber wheels are suitable for use on any type of flooring, even in presence of obstacles or dirt roads.

The supports combined with wheels for medium loads are light, medium, heavy, light in stainless steel, and heavy in stainless steel.

Heavy duty industrial wheels are useful for handling heavy loads up to 4300 kg. They are suitable for use with both manual and mechanical handling and for speeds up to 16 km/h.

The wheels are made with different materials: TR polyurethane, which guarantees great resistance to wear, laceration and deformation; others made of TR-ROLL elastic polyurethane, which adds to the characteristics of TR polyurethane the ability to overcome obstacles, to avoid noise and to soften vibrations and shocks of the elastic rubber. Wheels made of Vulkollan® Covestro have excellent load capacity and resistance to impact, wear and tear.

They are characterized by excellent smoothness and are mainly used for mechanical handling, but also for mixed manual-mechanical handling. They can be used for industrial internal handling trolleys, AGV trolleys, containers, electric pallet trucks, forklifts, trolleys for the automotive industry.

  • Heavy duty industrial wheels are mainly made of the following materials:
  • TR polyurethane
  • TR-ROLL elastic polyurethane
  • Vulkollan®
  • Polyamide 6
  • Mechanical cast iron

The heavy-duty wheels are combined with different Tellure Rôta supports, from light, to medium, heavy, heavy with hardened tracks, extra heavy, up to electro-welded and double electro-welded for the heavier applications.

The high temperature industrial wheels are suitable for light and medium loads. They resist to temperatures up to 300 ° C. In addition, they can be combined with a variety of specific temperature resistant supports.

The main characteristics of these products ensure that the wheels have good resistance to moderately aggressive chemicals, frequent washing and humid environments.

The wheels are made of thermosetting phenolic resin, a material that cannot be further melted after being moulded and therefore resists high temperatures, in Polyamide 6 strengthened with glass fibre or silicone rubber.

They are suitable for use in food industries and cooking ovens, especially in the bakery sector, or where washing and sterilization are required.

Industrial wheels for high temperatures are mainly made with the following materials:

  • Thermosetting phenolic resin
  • Polyamide 6 reinforced with glass fibre
  • Silicon rubber
  • Stainless steel supports

The pallet truck rollers are employed for handling loads on manual and electric pallet trucks.

The pallet jack rollers are made with different materials: Vulkollan®, TR polyurethane, TR-ROLL elastic polyurethane, polyamide 6 or thermoplastic polyurethane. They are characterized by excellent smoothness, which allows easy movements even for high loads, up to a speed of 6 km / h. Ideal for handling loads on pallet trucks and forklifts.

The pallet truck rollers are mainly made with the following materials:

  • TR polyurethane
  • TR-ROLL elastic polyurethane
  • Polyamide 6
  • Thermoplastic polyurethane

The furniture wheels are suitable for light-duty loads not exceeding 40 daN and a resistance to temperatures up to +70 ° C.

The main characteristics of these products make them suitable for all types of delicate flooring, including carpet. It is recommended for use in domestic environments and in absence of aggressive chemicals, thus is recommended to limiting the application to home and office furniture with low payload.
